We are looking for a talented and motivated Freelance Sales Specialist to join our team.

As a Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about sales, target-driven, and enjoy working independently.

Location: Remote

Remuneration: Commission based to start, with the possibility of a retainer + commission

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and target potential clients or customers within the specified market segment.

  2. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products/services to effectively communicate their value to clients.

  3. Build and manage a sales pipeline, with a focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  4. Conduct outbound sales activities, including cold calls, emails, and networking, to generate leads and convert them into clients.

  5. Schedule and conduct sales meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.

  6. Create and deliver compelling sales proposals and negotiate terms with potential clients.

  7. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute strategies for lead generation and customer acquisition.

  8. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to adapt sales strategies as needed.

  9. Provide regular sales reports and updates to the management team.

  10. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and explore opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven track record in sales and meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  3. Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently.

  4. Knowledge of the following sectors is a plus:

    - Executive leadership

    - Public and private education 

    - Human resources

    - Conflict resolution 

    - Industrial / organisational psychology

    - Public sector governance

  5. Strong negotiation and closing skills.

  6. High degree of adaptability and willingness to learn.

  7. Strong time management and organizational skills.

  8. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not required.

  9. Prior experience in freelance or remote sales roles is an advantage.
